The Hemisphere VS-i8 is a highly accurate, high-precision inertial navigation system (INS). Utilizing Honeywell® proprietary sensor fusion technology, the VS-i8 provides a high-performance, multi-frequency, multi-constellation RTK-enabled navigation and positioning solution for a variety of GNSS platforms and applications.
The VS-i8 combines Hemisphere’s Athena RTK positioning engine, full Atlas L-band capability and proven Honeywell IMU technology to provide accurate time-stamped position, velocity, angular rate, linear acceleration, roll, pitch and heading information. With its lightweight, compact size, the VS-i8’s performance is ideal for marine, UAV, robotics, mapping, GIS, LiDAR, mobile mapping and applications that require high performance in a small package.
